In addition to sharing details on new and upcoming 3DS and Wii U games during this morning's Nintendo Direct, the Big N also revealed some new hardware – a special edition "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" 3DS XL bundle will be available at the game's launch.
At first glance the new 3DS XL looks like it only sports a shiny new Animal Crossing inspired color scheme job, but Nintendo has done a bit more than apply a fresh coat of paint. The unit includes a 4GB SD card with the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Leaf pre-installed.
The Animal Crossing 3DS XL bundle will be available beginning June 9th, the same day "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" hits shelves. It will set eager buyers back $219.99
